Assistant Director of Pharmacy

Position Overview: As an Assistant Director of Pharmacy for CompleteRx you are part of an operational team with available support from your Director of Pharmacy, Regional Director of Operations, Regional Clinical Manager, Patient Safety & Compliance Director, Operations and Implementation Specialists to name few.  Your responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with all drug storage and drug preparation in the hospital.  Also ensuring the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets all legal, accreditation and certification requirements and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the hospital and state board.  Guided by the CompleteRx Team Covenant we expect our employees to continually provide courteous and professional support throughout all their interactions.   Position Requirements: Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher.  PharmD preferred Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in resident State or eligible to reciprocate Clinical experiencepreferred Excellent communication skills Minimum 5 years hospital pharmacy experience 2 years of progressive pharmacy leadership experience Trained or experience in general use of pharmacy computer systems    Responsibilities: Assist the Director in leading client pharmacy Assist the Director with initiating, scheduling and directing day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Develops a workflow plan for daily pharmacy activities (internally/externally), and adapts the workflow as necessary to a changing environment. Works with the Pharmacy Director to ensure that pharmacy standards and quality are met and maintained. Involved in interviewing, selecting and training of new employees. Provides staff development and training within the pharmacy.  This includes competency testing, technician registration testing and other developmental/operational needs. Assists Director with budget maintenance and control. Oversees the Pharmacy IT and Purchasing Operations. Attends and actively participates in hospital and departmental meetings/committees. Develops and maintains effective quality assurance programs for departmental services. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, assumes leadership responsibility for the Pharmacy. Act as a drug consultant to support services and ancillary departments. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
