General Equipment Mechanic

Your duties can include but are not limited to the following:
Works from computer printout sheets and completes computer data entry sheets, equipment record cards and reviews the reports submitted by various outside contractors. Works from building plans, blueprints, engineering drawings and mechanical maintenance and repair manuals. Repairs mechanical hospital beds, stretchers, Hoyer patient lifts, electric beds, IV stands and bedside rails. Repairs and overhauls hot and cold water circulating pumps, vacuum pumps, air compressors, medical air compressors and medical gas and vacuum systems, and problems of a mechanical nature on air handling equipment. Repairs prosthetics equipment including grinders and other fabrication tools. Performs other duties as assigned. NOTE:

Moderate to heavy physical effort is required due to the size and locations of equipment. Applicant works from ladders, scaffolding and performs in hard-to-reach places which require him to stoop, stand, bend, kneel, climb and work in cramped, tiring and uncomfortable positions and in work areas that are noisy. Applicant is occasionally exposed to the possibility of cuts. Applicant is subject to constant standing, and bruises. bending and standing for long periods of time. Frequent muscular effort is also required when applicant is working on various hospital equipment. Work Conditions:
Applicant works indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and is exposed to usual occupational hazards. Applicant is subject to body temperature change by having to work in an extremely cold place and then going to a heated section of the hospital. Applicant may be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment while performing duties. Must participate in medical surveillance program for respirator usage. Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualifications. A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
