For sale are two ADS L-990 Vintage 3-Way mini tower speakers in very good condition with stunning sound. They are sealed box style speakers with Dieter Rams designed perforated metal grilles. The speakers measure 35" x 11" x 11" and are comprised of a 10" woofer, 1.5" soft dome midrange and a 0.75" soft dome tweeter.Due to the double dome drivers, these sound amazing.The cabinets are extremely solid and in very good condition with some minor scratches toward the bottom, some minor wear at some of the corners and some wear at the recessed black bases as shown in the photos.Also as shown in the photos, one of the soft mid range domes has a minor dent but this presents no discernible effect on the excellent sound of these towers.The original metal grille posts have been replaced with new hardware that matches the originals as much as possible. The grilles themselves are in excellent condition.Speaker wire connections are made under the base of the speaker. One plastic cap on the speaker posts is missing, but this does not effect the speaker wire connectivity.These are outstanding speakers.These speakers heavy and the grilles are delicate and would require professional packaging.
